Modern Industrial
Imagining a flat in New York City? This elaborate kitchen remodel achieved the look of a modern, open loft to replaced the once a small, enclosed cook space. The removal of the main wall between the kitchen and family room opened up the space and revealed a previously enclosed chimney. In the spirit of an industrial loft, the wall was replaced with an exposed steel beam and the newly exposed chimney was refaced with brick. The new cabinetry is a combination of gloss black and brushed steel laminate. Striking red countertops are made of Caesar Stone quartz, while the bar rails are black granite. This kitchen was created for family breakfasts (around the small island) and evening entertaining in the spacious kitchen and living room below. Let the party begin!
