Our Design Process

5 Steps for Remodel Success! Get the most out of your remodel by using our proven process.

Who should I talk to? What do I need to know? Are you unsure of where to start? Is the thought of tackling a major remodeling project overwhelming? Begin by reviewing our 5 Steps for Remodel Success.

Step 1: Visit the Showroom

Visit our showroom to see and touch a vast array of samples, featuring the many styles, textures and finishes that can be used in your home. Get inspired by our many bathroom and kitchen vignettes, featuring both classic and contemporary styles. Our interactive touch screen takes you through before and after photos from past DreamMaker projects.

All product selections are available to view in our showroom, including cabinets, faucets, tile, flooring, and counter tops. We recognize that our clients’ time is valuable and running around town is often not an option. We are happy to provide the convenience of an all-inclusive showroom.

Pro Tip:

Do some brainstorming! Come in with a look or feel in mind so we can help guide you down the right path.

DreamMaker’s showroom has 150+ cabinet door styles and 900+ counter top options.

Step 2: Consult With A Designer

consultConsult with one of our designers to discuss your thoughts, desires, and objectives for your remodeling project. We have four expert interior designers on staff who are always up on the latest home remodeling trends, and can make suggestions on how to best achieve your remodeling goals. We’ll be able to share examples of similar projects DreamMaker has designed and built, so you can get an idea of what to expect. We’ll also help to pinpoint your must-haves, such as more counter space, more storage, or hardwood floors.

Not sure if we can meet your needs? We work with all sizes of projects – small, medium, and large. A chat with a designer is the best way to determine if DreamMaker is the right fit for your home remodeling project.

Pro Tip:

Bringing in photos or measurements of your room can help a designer make better suggestions regarding your project.

Our staff has won national awards for design and customer service.

Step 3: Review Project Site

kitchen-planA design specialist will review the project site to take measurements and photos, as well as look at any structural, plumbing, or electrical issues that may affect the project design and pricing. Taking “before” photos allows for a quick reference for you and your designer when planning your project. The site review will allow us to develop a scope of work for your project, including an investment outline.

Pro Tip:

This is a good time to discuss your remodeler’s plans for dust and dirt control.

DID YOU KNOW?

We employ a site review checklist comprised of over 100 items that we identify and record to help prevent surprises and unforeseen costs.

Step 4: Create Your Design

Our designer will even create a 3D digital model of your project so you can see exactly what your new room will look like before it’s built!

Pro Tip:

You are not limited to the selections in our showroom. If we don’t have it, we’ll find it!
