Our design and build process was created by DreamMaker Bath & Kitchen in conjunction with many of our clients. They often tell us that our systematic approach not only reduces the anxiety of tackling such a large project, but also ensures that they are involved in every step from concept through construction.
Whether you are looking to complete a kitchen, bathroom or basement remodel, our process starts with a meeting between you and one of our designers to discuss your thoughts, desires and objectives regarding your remodeling project. This is one of the most important steps in the process, as it allows our designers to get to know you and your tastes, what isn’t working for you and what would excite you in your new space.
Our showroom is a great venue for this meeting, as you can see and touch samples of the many components that will make up your new kitchen, bathroom or basement. At this point, we can also share with you examples of many other projects that DreamMaker has designed and built. This can not only help you narrow down the design styles that best suit you, but also aid you in determining what an appropriate investment level may be for your project.
After gaining a thorough understanding of what you are looking to accomplish with your remodeling project, your DreamMaker designer will conduct a review of the project site to take measurements and photos, and look at any structural, plumbing or electrical issues that may affect the design and pricing. Your designer will then develop a scope of work required to accomplish your remodeling project. They will also present you with an appropriate investment range for the scope of work developed, considering the level of products you shared with your designer in your initial meeting.
At this point in the process, if you feel that DreamMaker is a fit for you and can meet your objectives, we would move forward with the detailed designing of your project. In this step, your DreamMaker designer will work with you to create a final design that is a reflection of your style. From cabinets to switch plates, from flooring to lighting, your designer will guide you through the design and selection process to identify every element of your new kitchen, bathroom or basement, in the comfort of our showroom.
Once complete with the designs, our team of carpenters stand ready to turn your concepts into reality by transforming your old kitchen, bathroom or basement into the room you have dreamed it would be.
